Youth Channel Summer 2009 Interns Patrick, Chris and Melvin

Youth Channel Internships are designed to provide young people with basic clerical skills, while also receiving an opportunity for hands-on experience and on-the-job training in video production.

Interns receive training in using a digital video camera, learn field shooting, digital editing, media literacy, and receive basic television studio training. By the end of the quarter, Interns will be instrumental in the production of a short video and/or a studio show.

All interns may also be given school or college credit. Interns are also offered the opportunity and encouraged to continue their involvement with the Youth Channel even after their Internship! All candidates should complete the Internship Application Form and return it with a resume and letter of interest to the Youth Channel.
